No, this is not the house we are going to live in for the year.
Yes, this is a very posh place to be staying for a few days. (It’s just a house away from the beach!)
This one bedroom apartment is on the lower lever of a two story house type structure (with a larger 2 bedroom apartment upstairs, balconies, and a room top deck looking out to the ocean).
We Made dinner here our first night. I love staying in places where they have a kitchen. Helps us save money and enjoy a home cooked meal by us!
The girls are getting used to sleeping on tile, which makes things easier, but also keeps them cool!
A guy selling fresh seafood comes round to our door every evening.
The AC decided to poop out on us this morning. Note: When you’re in a rental where you aren’t paying the utilities, use the AC if you want it. We tried to sort it out, but didn’t have any success. We’ll be asking someone about it tomorrow, as sleeping in the heat isn’t too fun.
We’ve been in a couple of these homes during open houses on previous trips. They are a dream. $500k for a house on the beach with a large pool, surf and body board rental shop, lots of friendly people with dogs that roam, and it’s gated. Would I like to retire here? Heck yes.
